Product Owner Job Description

Our company is currently hiring a Product Owner with experience in managing transaction monitoring tools to mitigate financial crime risk. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to define product requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in management, statistics, or mathematics, or a graduate degree in engineering from a reputable institution. They should possess at least 15 years of hands-on experience in transaction monitoring, with 5+ years focused on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.

Key skills include exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices. Experience as a Product Owner managing transaction monitoring tools to mitigate financial crime risk is essential. Project management and presentation skills are also required.

Certifications from ACAMS or equivalent are preferred, and certification in project management is an added advantage.

Technical competencies include data science, compliance advisory, manage risk, surveillance, statistical modelling, machine learning, data analysis, SQL, HQL, Hive, Hadoop scripting, R, Python, SAS, STATA, C++, SCALA programming, and expertise in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau.

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate degree in Management, Statistics or Mathematics, or Graduate degree in Engineering

  • Experience as a Product Owner managing Transaction Monitoring tools
