Job Title: Associate - Finance and Accounts

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate to join our finance team in the role of Finance and Accounting Professional.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, payments, receipts, and bank transactions.
  • Performing monthly bank and vendor reconciliations, supporting month-end and year-end financial closure activities.
  • Preparing and filing GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns. Assisting in internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
  • Supporting the finance team in preparing profit & loss statements, balance sheets, MIS reports, budget vs actuals, and cash flow analysis.
  • Liaising with banks, auditors, vendors, and internal teams. Maintaining financial documentation and supporting other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the ability to complete financial tasks efficiently and accurately, contributing to faster financial reporting and reconciliation cycles.
  • Identify areas in accounting operations that can be streamlined or improved and propose practical solutions.
  • Take initiative in financial operations and contribute actively to improving internal processes and controls.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in accounting roles such as Accounts Associate or Finance Executive.
  • Familiarity with tools like Zoho Books is a plus.
