Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a skilled Production Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operation and maintenance of machinery in our nutraceutical manufacturing facility.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing as per SOPs, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to maintain quality standards during machine operations in line with GMP guidelines.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations, record machine operating data, and production outputs accurately.
  • Ensure material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are carried out as per requirements, report and escalate equipment malfunctions or abnormalities promptly.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the engineering team, maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment following GHP and safety standards.
  • Assist during audits, inspections, and documentation verification.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in machinery operations within Nutraceuticals, Food Manufacturing, or Pharmaceuticals is required.
  • Hands-on experience with blending, granulation, encapsulation, filling, or packaging machines is essential.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of machine operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting is necessary.
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and hygienic practices is required.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GHP, HACCP, and regulatory guidelines (FSSAI/ISO) is desired.
  • Ability to conduct and document in-process checks accurately is essential.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and adherence to SOPs are crucial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, QA, and maintenance teams is necessary.
