Strategic Sourcing Manager

This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for driving electronic product development at EMS, overseeing the electronic manufacturing process and quality, and developing strategic sourcing strategies to optimize supplier bases. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of electronic components, supplier management, and cost reduction techniques.

About the Role:

  • Developing Electronic Products at EMS: You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and launch new electronic products that meet customer needs and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Electronic Manufacturing Process (EMP) Management: You will oversee the EMP, ensuring that production processes are optimized for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Supplier Management: You will develop and implement strategies to optimize the supplier base, reducing costs and improving quality.
  • Cost Reduction: You will identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement initiatives to achieve savings targets.

Requirements:

  • B.E (Electronics): A degree in Electronics or a related field is essential for this role.
  • 4 - 10 years experience: With a minimum of 4 years of experience in electronic component procurement, supplier management, and cost reduction.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven track record of managing projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • SAP knowledge: Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
