Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Supply Chain Specialist.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with expertise in reviewing and releasing purchase orders, reconciling purchase orders, resolving supplier queries, following up, and expediting critical purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement mitigation plans for potential risks.
  • Establish and monitor effective issue management, change management, and quality management processes.
  • Coordinate timely meetings between teams/suppliers/customers for issue resolution.
  • Prepare comprehensive project status reports and submit to senior management customers for reviews.
  • Drive governance calls with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably JDE/SAP and Ariba or related buying tools.
  • Ability to work flexible shift timings, including US/EMEA/APAC.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Buying – Creation of Purchase Requisitions and Management of Purchase Orders.
  • Strong understanding of sales orders, team management, stakeholder management, escalation management, performance review management.
  • Experience in monitoring/managing supplier information, end-to-end experience in procure-to-pay cycles, RFx process, driving transformation/automation projects for procurement.
  • Proficiency in creating PRs and POs, reconciling purchase orders, researching and resolving order exceptions, supplier identification process in JDE, SAP S4/HANA, and Ariba usage experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior management and clients.
  • Project management skills, analytical skills, and root cause analysis.
