Job Title: Strategic Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of driving procurement excellence in complex projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that achieve optimal earnings contributions for the respective project.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships;
  • Analyze customer tender components and negotiate contracts to ensure fair and competitive pricing;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and compliance with procurement policies and procedures;
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement process improvements to drive business growth;
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and best practices in procurement to continuously improve processes and outcomes;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; a master's degree is preferred;
  • At least 5-12 years of relevant experience in handling project procurement or procurement functions;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically;
  • Experience working in multicultural teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • Familiarity with SCM processes and tools, including SAP;
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken;
