Job Description

As a Head of Design Hydraulic Cylinders, you will be responsible for overseeing all design aspects of hydraulic cylinders and leading a team of designers and engineers. This is a full-time on-site role at our company in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing hydraulic cylinders or related mechanical products, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, and proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design management and product design skills.
  • Costing of hydraulic cylinders.
  • Visual design and branding skills.

The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • 10 years experience in hydraulic cylinder design.
  • Strong technical skills in engineering design and product development.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred skills include industry experience in the construction and mining equipment sectors, experience with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor, and knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in design and manufacturing.
