Head of Production

The incumbent will oversee plant operations and spearhead initiatives for enhancing safety, quality, and productivity.
Main Responsibilities:- Leading Plant Operations:
- Timely production at required volumes, quality, and timeliness as per industry standards.
- Maintaining quality standards at each stage of processing.
- Achieving timely dispatch and delivery of products to customers.
- Implementing preventive maintenance and minimizing downtime in repairs.
- Closing customer complaints efficiently.
- Driving Future Plant Capabilities:
- Prioritizing safety through associate engagement and regular coaching.
- Optimizing operations through planning processes, reducing losses.
- Adopting the latest production management practices and systems that enhance productivity.
- Ensuring sustainability through water conservation, waste management, etc.
- Implementing 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices to improve processes.
- General Management:
- Preparing annual budgets for the plant and monitoring costs against targets.
- Liaising with external stakeholders to minimize disruptions to operations.
- BUILDING RELATIONS WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.
- B.Tech/M.Tech (Dairy Tech/Food Tech)
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry in production required
- Understanding of dairy industry and milk production required
