Software Engineer Role

You will work in a state-of-the-art environment that provides an ideal setting for technology teams to thrive in a collaborative, Agile engineering culture. You will play a key role in transforming the B2B space by standardizing, automating, and optimizing digital payment efficiency for Buyers and Sellers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to microservices planning, design, and development as a leading team member.
  • Build and maintain full-stack applications & services using Angular, Java, and PCF.
  • Deliver high-quality code with exceptional security that operates at scale.
  • Perform code reviews and retrospectives, and approve Pull Requests using Git.
  • Collaborate with architects, software engineers, test engineers, TPMs, and PM-Ts.
  • Coordinate with DevOps on the build pipeline design and maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership to software engineers.
  • E nsure adherence to 12-factor app design principles and Mastercard engineering best practices.

Requirements:

  • You have a solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, web applications, and microservices-based software architecture.
  • You have a deep understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
  • You have experience building applications using Java and PCF.
  • You have experience with storage technologies such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and delivering solutions at scale.
  • You have experience with automated testing and continuous delivery using Git.
  • You enjoy working in an Agile team focused on continuous improvement.
  • You are passionate about delivering high-quality software to customers.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
