Optimizing production planning is a critical aspect of manufacturing operations. To excel in this field, one must possess a deep understanding of production processes and be proficient in leveraging technology to drive efficiency.

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Production Planning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing production planning processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that align with organizational goals.

  • Analyzing production planning processes to identify opportunities for growth and optimization;
  • Developing and implementing customized production planning strategies to meet business requirements;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective production planning solutions;
  • Conducting system testing and providing training to end-users on production planning software;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to production planning;
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning decisions;

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with production planning software (APO or S/4HANA embedded PP/QM);
  • Strong understanding of production planning concepts and methodologies;
  • Experience configuring production planning parameters and scheduling strategies;
  • Familiarity with integration between ERP systems and production planning software;
  • Experience writing functional specifications for custom developments;
  • SAP S/4HANA PP/QM experience is a strong plus;
  • Understanding of manufacturing industry processes and shop floor integration is an advantage;
  • Fluency in English is required.
