Electrical Modeler Job Description

Pinnacle Infotech is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

As an Electrical BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed electrical models using Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Navisworks. You will work closely with the project team to deliver high-quality results on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed electrical models using Revit MEP and Navisworks.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure that electrical models are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure that electrical models are integrated into the overall building model.
  • Prepare and review electrical drawings, including shaft coordination drawings, RCP layout drawings, and builders work drawings.
  • Develop and maintain parametric Revit families for electrical components.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between electrical and other building services.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks on 3D models, drawings, and other deliverables.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members on electrical modeling best practices and software tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and BIM modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Navisworks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
