Job Title: Utility Network Specialist

The position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the effective operation and maintenance of client GIS operations built on the ArcGIS platform in cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ArcGIS Enterprise administration, including implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as a good understanding of Linux in cloud environments.

  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to conduct needs assessments, gather technical requirements, and design robust solutions tailored to their specific business needs.
  • Project Execution: Lead and execute all phases of projects from initial design and configuration to full implementation and deployment within client ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
  • Data Migration: Architect and perform complex data migration from legacy GIS, CAD, and other systems into the Utility Network, developing and managing sophisticated ETL workflows for multiple clients.
  • Managed Services: Provide ongoing remote administration, maintenance, and support for client Utility Network deployments, including performance monitoring, utility network maintenance activities, data quality checks, version management, service publishing, and ensuring system uptime.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, providing expert-level user support, and developing advanced network analysis tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience delivering solutions with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro.
  • Proven project experience implementing Esri's Utility Network, including advanced data modeling, rule configuration, and subnetwork management.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a consulting, professional services, or multi-client environment.
  • Strong proficiency in enterprise geodatabase administration (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL) and data migration strategies.
