Network Architect Role

As a key member of our team, the network architect plays a vital role in designing and implementing high-performance network architectures. This involves utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as VLANs, VXLANs, VTPs, and VSS on Cisco Catalyst platforms to ensure seamless communication across various networks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Designing and building scalable network structures, incorporating emerging trends and best practices to optimize network efficiency.
  2. Configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols for traditional WAN and SD-WAN environments, ensuring reliable data transmission.
  3. Implementing and managing advanced network security measures, including virtual firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex network-related issues, promoting high availability and disaster recovery.
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry advancements, embracing new technologies like cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, VMWare) to drive innovation.

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
