Job Title: Mainframe Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Mainframe Tester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our mainframe systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate mainframe system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design and implement automated testing scripts using JCL, COBOL, and SQL.
  • Provide detailed test reports and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status and progress.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mainframe testing.
  • Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies and core testing processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and the banking industry.
