Palo Alto Security Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Palo Alto Security Expert. This role involves designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting secure enterprise networks while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Security Management (Palo Alto)
    • Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Firewalls for secure network operations.
    • Implement and monitor Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering.
    • Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets for optimal security and performance.
    • Manage Panorama for centralized firewall administration and log monitoring.
    • Troubleshoot firewall-related issues and investigate incidents.
  • Switching and Routing Management (Cisco)
    • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco switching infrastructure for efficient network operations.
    • Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, ACLs for advanced L3 routing on switches.
    • Perform network segmentation, redundancy, and high-availability design for secure and efficient network operations.
  • Collaboration and Documentation
    • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure network solutions.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Technical Expertise:

  • Palo Alto Firewalls: Security profiles, NAT, VPNs, Panorama management.
  • Strong understanding of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
  • Identity & Access Management.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in enterprise network security and team management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

This is a key role that requires expertise in network security, switching, and routing management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge and excellent collaboration skills.
