Health Safety and Environmental Manager

This role involves leading the health safety and environmental function, strengthening our food safety culture, and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards.

A key part of this role is managing both internal and external audits. The Health Safety and Environmental Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their expectations and calibrate our processes accordingly.

The Health Safety and Environmental Manager will leverage strong partnerships with our culinary and procurement teams to execute company standards and exceed client expectations, ultimately enhancing the user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will work as a key member of the country leadership team to ensure that all aspects of HSEQ and Governance are managed effectively.
  • You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders to drive business outcomes, governance initiatives, and enterprise risk management initiatives across the business.
  • You will take ownership of ensuring that our HSEQ strategy is consistently followed at all our sites, including designing and implementing a robust structure for risk assessment and compliance with all relevant food safety regulations.
  • You will oversee and ensure the effective delivery of all HSEQ training across our sites.
  • You will gain a deep understanding of our clients' health safety and environmental requirements and expectations and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • You will conduct critical risk assessments during the pre-mobilization phase of new sites.
  • You will take full accountability for all client issues and escalations related to HSEQ performance.
  • You will define clear performance standards for your team, aligning them with regional HSEQ delivery metrics.
  • You will identify and address the development needs of your direct reports through internal and external training and certifications.
  • You will cultivate our talent pipeline through effective coaching and aspiration management.
  • You will identify best practices within the industry and implement them within our operations.
