Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Professional

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as KSPCB, Ground water authority, PESO, boilers and Department of Factories Boilers Industrial Safety and Health.
  • Compile and maintain relevant registers to guarantee adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with relevant authorities to foster a culture of safety.
  • Provide training sessions on safety procedures, emergency response planning, waste management, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Implement ISO 14001(EMS) and 45001(OSHAS) to promote a robust health and safety management system.
  • Conduct regular safety committee meetings to share best practices and identify root causes of incidents.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to recommend corrective actions and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Oversee environmental aspects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainability initiatives.
  • Organize emergency response drills, including fire and spill response, to ensure preparedness and readiness.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify and rectify hazards.
  • Develop and work towards achieving corporate sustainability goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Project management skills.
