Export Coordination Specialist

The role of an export coordination specialist involves planning and managing the movement of goods from one country to another. This includes coordinating with sales teams, manufacturing sites, and freight forwarders to ensure seamless shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring daily stock levels and releasing invoices accordingly
  • Preparation of pre-export and post-export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
  • Coordinating with manufacturers for smooth shipment movement, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with customer requirements
  • Negotiating with freight forwarders for competitive freight rates, ensuring cost-effective transportation solutions
  • Ensuring effective communication with customers, freight forwarders, transporters, and custom brokers throughout the shipment process
  • Verifying post-shipping documents, including customs clearance and delivery confirmation
  • Handling customer queries and audit-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of export coordination processes and be proficient in working with ERP systems like SAP HANA. Additionally, they should be well-versed in handling both LCL and FCL shipments, preparing documents under Letter of Credit and LC Clause, and liaising with shipping companies and custom brokers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in export coordination at an executive level
  • Graduate degree in any field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in working with ERP systems like SAP HANA
  • Familiarity with export regulations and procedures
