Senior Process Engineer Role Overview

As a seasoned engineering professional, we're seeking an accomplished Senior Process Engineer to lead key projects and guide teams. This individual will drive medium to large-scale initiatives, ensuring the quality of engineering deliverables from initial FEED phases through detailed design.

This role involves developing and reviewing key project documents, including PFDs, P&IDs, and HMBs. The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience with projects in the FMCG industry, preferably with expertise in North America region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Engineering & Design: Develop and review engineering packages, feasibility studies, and prepare/review technical bid evaluations.
  • Calculations & Analysis: Perform line sizing, pump hydraulics, and calculations for equipment like tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, and pumps.
  • Vendor & Quality Management: Prepare RFQs, review vendor drawings, conduct technical bid evaluations, and ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality requirements.
  • 3D Modeling & Collaboration: Review 3D models and project-specific documents to ensure design integrity, utilizing tools like Smart P&ID (Plant-3D).
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in process design within the FMCG industry, with hands-on experience in projects in the North America region.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in developing key process engineering deliverables, knowledge of hydraulic analysis software like AFT Fathom, and familiarity with Plant 3D and laser scan modeling.
