Senior Operations Manager

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of our data center, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing critical situations, achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

This role involves owning Service Orders (SOWs) and SLAs, as well as managing Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities, safety procedures, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a team of shift managers, ensuring that all planned and unplanned activities are executed within the given timelines. They will also be responsible for tracking complaints, closing them within SLA deviations, and conducting incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities.

Other key responsibilities include asset management, warranty, Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), lifecycle, capacity management, 5 PPM tracking and completion with TAT, OEM coordination, vendor management with RAT and TAT, complaint handling, stock tracking, CE Team coordination, compliance maintenance, physical security process adherence, risk assessment preparation, inventory updates, and report submission.

The successful candidate will possess a degree/diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, along with at least 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience. A solid organizational skillset, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities, is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Proven relevant work experience in Data Center Industry
  • Solid technical background, with understanding and hands-on experience in data center infrastructure
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
