Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a skilled site reliability engineer who can execute on incident, change management, and problem management processes.
  • This role requires someone with experience in building and supporting reliable application suites for various environments.
  • The ideal candidate will provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and systems programming.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring platform performance and availability, restoring services timely, and tuning platforms to meet enterprise objectives.
  • A strong ability to troubleshoot incidents and work collaboratively with teams to address failure patterns is essential.
  • The system reliability engineer will also lead calls or contribute logically to resolve issues before they become incidents.
  • Key responsibilities include identifying and articulating the severity of impacts using provided monitoring tools and escalating as needed.
  • The ideal candidate must understand architecture and design of applications, identify symptoms, and narrow focus to resolve incidents quickly.
  • Able to perform root cause analysis and implement changes to platforms with minimal impact to the business by following enterprise standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must have experience in system reliability engineering and knowledge of application suite development and maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely is essential.
  • Familiarity with problem management processes and incident response is necessary.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
