Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for defining product hardware specifications and requirements.

You will conduct in-depth reviews of hardware design and firmware control with a focus on system integration. Your responsibilities will also include developing test plans to verify electrical, environmental, and functional compliance.

In addition, you will perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure reliability and safety. You will coordinate product development milestones with cross-functional teams.

Your expertise will also be required to oversee updates to Design for Excellence (DFX), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and product life cycle management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mastery of closed-loop control and compensator design.
  • Experience with high-power semiconductor devices, particularly power converter designs over 100kVA.
  • Strong technical knowledge and system-level design experience.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects involving electronics and control circuitry.
  • Familiarity with EMI filter design and product qualification testing.
  • Circuit simulation tool skills such as SIMULINK.
  • Derating, FMEA, and reliability analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
  • A Master's degree in Power Electronics or a relevant field with 8-12 years of experience.
