The role of Financial Operations Specialist is to oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting. This includes managing journal entries, analyzing account balances, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">

  • Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

    ">">

  • Pass journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions, as necessary.

    ">">

  • Perform thorough analysis and reconciliation of account balances.

    ">">

  • Reconcile payment gateway receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    ">">

  • Audit vendor invoices for errors and compliance, and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

    ">">

  • Process and validate vendor invoices for timely payments, and maintain accurate records.

    ">">

  • Monitor receivables and maintain aging reports to ensure timely collections.

    ">">

  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, and maintain organized financial records.

    ">">

  • Assist in internal and external audits, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
