Job Description

We are seeking a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) engineer to manage the day-to-day operations and steadystate reliability of the VCF stack. This includes owning the vSphere, vSAN, vRealize Operations (vROps / VMware Aria Operations), and NSX components with a focus on vSphere, vSAN, vROps, and NSX.

The successful candidate will work closely with customer IT teams to maintain platform health, implement changes, and proactively optimize capacity and performance. Key responsibilities include monitoring, triaging, and resolving incidents; driving problem management and rootcause analysis. Routine health checks and remediation across vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vROps will also be performed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents; drive problem management and rootcause analysis.
  • Perform routine health checks and remediation across vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vROps.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 4-7 years total experience in VMware virtualization & softwaredefined data center operations.
  • 2+ years handson with vSphere & vSAN; 1-2 years with NSXT day2 operations.
  • Prior experience operating vROps/Aria Operations in production.
  • Certifications (preferred): VCPDCV (required or in progress), VCPNV (plus), VCAP (plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent practical experience.
