Senior System Engineer Position

Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to provide expert support and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure.

  • Maintain client networks, servers, and storage systems remotely or on-premise as required.
  • Design and implement a range of IT projects, including high availability, virtualization, and cloud services.
  • Serve as the escalation point for issues beyond the capabilities of desktop engineers or helpdesk staff.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Service Coordinators, and Engineers to ensure seamless customer service and meet service-level commitments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and system problems in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 administration, and Windows security. Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco, SonicWALL, Dell, Fortinet), heavily virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V), and backup solutions (O365, GSuite) is also required. Experience with MDM solutions (Intune, Jamf) and technical certifications are highly valued.

Key Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience administering, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining Windows-based networks and servers.
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 administration, and Windows security.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls and switches.
  • Proficiency in heavily virtualized environments.
  • Familiarity with backup solutions and cloud-based email systems.
  • Experience with MDM solutions.
