Senior Network Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise networking and a strong background in modern virtualized and cloud-native networking approaches, including OpenStack Neutron, VMware NSX, OVN/OVS, Calico, Cilium, and related technologies.

This role will involve shaping network designs for Private Cloud Director deployments, ensuring successful integrations with customer environments, and creating best practice documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), VPN-as-a-Service (VPNaaS), and Load Balancer-as-a-Service (LBaaS) solutions.
  • Expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, and related protocols.
  • A strong background in software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV).
  • Experience with OpenStack Neutron networking services and plugins, as well as integrations with major SDN controllers.
  • Specialization in VMware networking (NSX-T, NSX-V) or OpenStack networking, with the ability to work across both stacks.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native networking for Kubernetes (e.g., Calico, Cilium, Flannel).
