Senior VMware Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced VMware engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, and Cloud Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation scripts using Python or PowerShell for system automation.
  • Administer Linux systems and develop software with experience in testing.
  • Work with Enterprise Cloud environments, understanding deployment practices from Development to Test to Staging to Production.
  • Communicate effectively in English with good communication skills.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Ansible, VMware API integration development, Cloud networking, IBM Cloud API integration development, Windows Active Directory administration, Windows SQL server administration, Jenkins build and platforms, Web UI development, GitHub issue and code management, network security components, firewalls, gateways, secure engineering principles, security standards, authentication, authorization, encryption protocols, Kubernetes, Telegraf, VeeamOne.
