Lead Data Engineering Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Data Engineering Manager to join our Commercial Data team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of complex data initiatives and drive innovation in our industry.

The successful candidate will have experience in leading high-performing teams, designing scalable data solutions, and implementing agile methodologies. They will also possess excellent technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.

This role requires strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about driving business outcomes through data-driven decision-making and have a commitment to code quality and security.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of complex data initiatives using agile methodologies
  • Design and implement scalable data solutions using SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Mentor and coach engineers to develop their technical skills and foster a culture of continuous learning
  • Drive business outcomes through data-driven decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Requirements:

  • 8-13 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering complex projects
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of continuous learning
  • Commitment to code quality and security, with a focus on driving business outcomes through data-driven decision-making
