Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to pioneering innovative solar EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with internal teams (structural, design, project engineers) to execute rooftop solar systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, manufacturing, packaging) to deliver end-to-end EPC solutions.
  • Design Review and Innovation: Assist in the design review for rooftop kits and provide inputs for innovative installation methodologies.
  • Team Growth and Development: Help identify and onboard additional electrical engineers to strengthen the EPC execution team.
  • Product Improvement: Contribute to the development of 'click system' and tool-less installation methods for rooftop kits.
  • Installer Feedback Analysis: Compile and analyze installer feedback for product improvement.
  • Cost Optimization: Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for 3 KWP rooftop systems and support discussions with suppliers and vendors for cost-effective solutions.
  • Packaging Methodologies: Develop innovative packaging methodologies (inspired by IKEA-style kits) and ensure packaging is installer-friendly.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with vendors for packaging design and specifications, and define and document structure material specifications, BOMs, and costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's is a plus).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in rooftop solar EPC, preferably with 3–10 kWp systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, and commissioning of solar rooftop projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with solar structures, mounting systems, and innovative installation methodologies.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors, and strong problem-solving and project management skills.
