Senior Solar Engineer Opportunity

We are a leading solar cell and module manufacturer based in India. Our commitment to quality and sustainability is reflected in our 25-acre LEED Gold Certified plant and PVEL-recognized modules.

Our company operates advanced facilities with 2 GW cell and 5.1 GW module capacity, and is expanding into TOPCon technology.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production output and yield while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The responsibilities include handling engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Production & Output Responsibility: Ensure high-quality production output and yield while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Solar/Chemical Industry/ Mechanical Experience: Prior experience in solar cell manufacturing or the chemical industry is highly preferred.
  • Process & Continuous Improvement: Initiate and implement projects aimed at improving yield, reducing costs, and optimizing production processes.
  • Engineering & Trials Management: Handle engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds efficiently.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Possess strong mathematical, technical, and basic computer skills.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet desired standards and meet internal/external audit requirements.
  • Multitasking & Flexibility: Be adaptable and capable of handling multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge & Documentation: Understand cell manufacturing procedures and contribute to developing SOPs, operating instructions, and documentation standards.
  • Manpower management & Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills and effectively guide or lead team members.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain safe work practices, comply with chemical/gas safety procedures, clean room protocols, ISO standards, and environmental regulations.

Preferred Qualification:

B.Tech/Diploma (Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical) required.
