Design Manager Solar Projects

The Design Manager will lead a team of engineers and designers in the creation and implementation of solar projects. The role involves managing the design lifecycle from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications, are cost-effective, and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire design process for solar PV power plants.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.
  • Optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management of single plants of 100 MWp and higher.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup, and Helioscope.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
