We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical support engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical assistance to customers with complex network issues.
- Interact with customers to troubleshoot and isolate problems.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve escalations and bugs.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for customer-facing issues.
- 8 years of experience working in the networking space.
- 5 years of experience working in a TAC.
- Excellent written and oral communication ability.
- Expertise in TCP/IP, L3 routing, L2 switching, Multicast, firewalls, QOS.
- Strong understanding of wireless technologies 802.11x, WLAN authentication, encryption, EAP, PSK, Radius, AAA, DNS.
- Technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex Layer 2-3 and/or wireless issues in multi-vendor environments.
- Experience with Wireless survey tools like Ekahau.
- Working Knowledge of Salesforce and JIRA.
- Multiple language skills.
- Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, Perl, etc.).
- Experience working with Linux.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive results while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
