Network Engineer Position

The role demands a seasoned software professional to work on the qualification of networking devices, fabric, and protocols with in-depth knowledge of networking at the protocol level, coupled with programming skills to support the automation of test plans.

This involves evaluation and testing of highly scaled-up network infrastructure due to OCI's cloud-based network with a global footprint.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on networking protocols, production network configuration, and scale use cases.
  • Perform functional, scalability, performance, interoperability, regression, and security testing of network devices such as routers.
  • Create automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage test environments using lab setups for scale validations required for system validation.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and have strong troubleshooting experience.
  • Record detailed test results, create test reports, and maintain clear documentation throughout the test lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Network vendors, designers to resolve issues.
