Brick & Bolt is revolutionizing the construction services industry with its managed marketplace. As a category leader, you will play a crucial role in solving one of the most complex business problems.

The Indian real estate market is projected to be a $650 billion market in 2025 and a $1 trillion worth sector in 2030. With 85%+ construction still unorganized in India, Brick&Bolt is poised to capture the massive and super-broken market using its technology and processes.

We have already operationalized over 12 cities across 15 months, achieving significant milestones through our Series A2 funding. Our investment partners include Accel and Celesta Capital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and profitability of building materials across assigned regions.
  • Develop and execute strategies for category expansion, margin improvement, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends, customer demand, and pricing to optimize sourcing and sales strategies.

P&L Management:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of regional P&L for building materials.
  • Manage key metrics including top-line revenue, gross margin, cost of goods, and working capital.
  • Align category performance with overall business targets and contribute to strategic planning.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of category and procurement managers across the region.
  • Set clear KPIs, drive performance reviews, and enable skill development for team members.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance.

Vendor & Supply Chain Management:

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective material sourcing.
  • Lead negotiations with manufacturers, distributors, and regional vendors for better terms and pricing.
  • Ensure procurement operations adhere to compliance, quality standards, and delivery timelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate closely with project execution, logistics, finance, and technology teams to ensure smooth end-to-end material flow.
  • Support project timelines by ensuring just-in-time availability and minimizing stock-outs or excess inventory.
