Job Description

The position involves overseeing Infrastructure Operations activities, focusing on developing and implementing infrastructure strategies for the organization.

  • Developing a comprehensive infrastructure strategy encompassing on-premise data center management and cloud deployments.
  • Analyzing existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency, with the goal of improving or leveraging these systems.
  • Procuring software, hardware, and other IT supplies after obtaining approval from management.
  • Inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Collaborating with senior management/peers to gain acceptance for alternative approaches.
  • Managing outsourced teams for daily operations and activities.
  • Providing solutions to complex business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  • Performing live disaster recovery (DR) activities and periodic DR drills.
  • Familiarity with server, storage, database, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and network technologies.
  • Production incident management.
  • Regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, covering both on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructure.

Skills:

  • Expertise in program and project management.
  • Planning and executing infrastructure-related projects.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as servers, storage, databases, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and networks.
  • Strong knowledge and exposure to cloud computing.
