Job Title: Data Storage Expert

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Storage Expert to oversee the installation, configuration, and management of enterprise-grade storage infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAN/NAS environments, with a strong understanding of storage concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of storage devices, from installation to decommissioning.
  • Perform day-to-day monitoring, reporting, and management of large storage devices and tape libraries.
  • Develop and maintain backup and restore activity plans, including prerequisites and rollback strategies.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and vendors for issue resolution, ensuring prompt closure.
  • Work on multi-platform environments, including Windows, Linux, Unix variants, and Solaris.
  • Apply scripting knowledge for automation and optimization tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in data storage technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data storage concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in SAN/NAS environments and enterprise storage management.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for system administration.
  • Basic understanding of multiple operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in data storage technologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure within BFSI/Banking/Telecom/Enterprise domains.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
