Technical Specialist

Role Overview:

This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions, optimize financial data workflows, and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and integrate SimCorp modules for seamless data processing.
  • Develop modular XSLT pipelines to transform and validate XML data across content workflows and integration points.
  • Build automated data pipelines using DEX, MQ, and SFTP to ensure data reliability and reduce operational overhead.
  • Integrate XSLT templates into content management platforms for real-time data rendering, publishing automation, and compliance-ready reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Manage setup and scheduling of batch jobs, DFS components, and data extractors to ensure seamless processing and timely delivery of financial data.
  • Develop utilities to address missing security data through external lookups and maintain robust data archiving mechanisms for audit and compliance.
  • Support and maintain SimCorp DFS modules including financial accounting, regulatory reporting, and system automation.
  • Engineer solution designs and automation workflows for fixed income and portfolio management use cases, including Bloomberg data ingestion.
  • Partner with analysts and developers to troubleshoot, enhance, and deploy improvements in SimCorp configurations and related integrations.

  • Platforms & Tools: SimCorp Dimension, DFS, CommServer, MQ, DEX, Cartridge
  • Data Integration & Transformation: XSLT, XML, SFTP, CMS Integration
  • Financial Domains: Portfolio Management, Fixed Income (bonds, options), Bloomberg Integration, Data Archiving
  • Development Methodologies: Data Mapping, Workflow Automation, Process Design, Compliance Alignment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or asset/investment management technology.
  • Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension tools and integration frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in building compliant, scalable data pipelines and system configurations for regulated financial environments.
