Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong focus on data validation and automation. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting systems.

The ideal candidate combines test automation expertise with hands-on experience in Snowflake and ThoughtSpot, ensuring our data is trusted, actionable, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Automate testing for data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake to guarantee data integrity.
  • Validate data models, transformations, and aggregations for accuracy, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
  • Build reconciliation tests between source systems and Snowflake to ensure data consistency.
  • Test and verify dashboards, reports, and analytics in ThoughtSpot, driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Ensure metrics and KPIs in BI tools align with data definitions, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks in C#, integrating into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate across teams to define strategies, plan sprints, and track data quality metrics, promoting a data-driven approach to quality assurance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience as an SDET / Test Engineer with hands-on automation using C#, Playwright, and MSTest, leveraging expertise to drive testing efficiency.
  • Practical experience with Snowflake (SQL queries, stored procedures, schema validation), utilizing technical knowledge to optimize data management.
  • Exposure to ThoughtSpot or similar BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for report validation and testing, applying analytical skills to drive insights.
  • Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) for UI automation and controller-based design for API testing, ensuring robust testing frameworks.
  • Experience embedding test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), streamlining testing processes and improving overall quality.
  • Comfortable with test reporting, analyzing data quality metrics, and driving data-informed QA improvements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience working in collaborative Agile teams, promoting effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
