Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Data Architect to lead our data engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems using Azure/AWS Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using cloud-based architectures.
  • Develop and deploy data pipelines using Python/Scala/Spark/Pyspark.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data solutions that meet their needs.
  • Maintain and improve existing data infrastructure to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based architectures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and RDBMS principles.
  • Experience with version control systems like Github or Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
  • Prior experience with Delta Live Tables (DLT) is an added advantage.
