System Developer Job

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced System Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing large-scale enterprise systems using IBM iSeries technologies.

Your primary focus will be on working with RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment) to deliver high-quality applications that meet our business needs.

You will also have the opportunity to work with DB2 for iSeries, SQL optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling, as well as strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, including effective English writing and presentation abilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Agile software development methodology and DevSecOps technologies such as CI/CD and Jenkins.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University graduate with a degree in IT or related discipline with minimum 10+ years' hands-on experience in IBM iSeries system development
  • Expertise in IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment)
  • Proficiency in DB2 for iSeries (SQL optimization, stored procedures, data modeling)
  • Strong understanding of iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology and DevSecOps technologies
