Job Title: Chartered Accountant Semi Qualified

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage various financial, taxation, audit, and compliance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in GST, Income Tax, TDS, Tax Audit, and Statutory Audit.

This role involves responding to notices, managing business and NGO registrations, and ensuring overall legal and financial compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Auditing & Internal Controls
  • Assist in Statutory Audits and Tax Audits under the Income Tax Act.
  • Prepare working papers and documentation required for audits.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls.
  • Prepare details for Form 3CD and other tax audit-related schedules.
  1. Taxation
  • File Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
  • Prepare and submit GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
  • Handle TDS computation, payment, filing, and issuance of Form 16/16A.
  • Manage Professional Tax registrations and compliance.
  1. Notice Handling
  • Draft and file responses to Income Tax notices (e.g., 143(1), 139(9), etc.).
  • Reply to GST notices, Show Cause Notices, and queries from departments.
  1. Registrations & Approvals
  • Manage GST registration and amendments for businesses.
  • Assist NGOs and Trusts in obtaining 12A & 80G registrations.
  • Support Startup India registration and related compliance.
  1. Compliance & Legal Updates
  • Ensure timely filings and updates under GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
  • Process amendments in registrations (address change, PAN updates, etc.).
  • Stay updated on statutory changes and implement them accordingly.
  1. General Accounting Support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Support in budgeting, reporting, reconciliations, and book finalization.
  • Assist in preparation of data for audits, assessments, and inspections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws: GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.
  • Experience in Tax Audits and Statutory Audits.
  • Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • CA Semi-qualified or CA Dropout – preferred.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and audit, preferably in a CA firm or consulting environment.
