Senior Product Security Leader

This senior leadership role requires a seasoned expert in product security to lead and manage a team of engineers and cybersecurity professionals dedicated to the secure development, deployment, and maintenance of medical devices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management processes, and regulatory requirements for medical devices. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive product security strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading and managing cross-functional teams to integrate security practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, ensuring timely and effective incident response.
  • Establishing and maintaining security standards, frameworks, and best practices for product development and deployment.
  • Monitoring industry trends and emerging technologies to inform security strategies and practices.
  • Fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in engineering or cybersecurity roles.
  • Proven expertise in product security, particularly in medical device or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management processes, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
