Senior Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Leader to oversee the Credit Analyst team in India. As a key member of our organization, you will lead the underwriting process for deals targeting the US market.

  • Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the quality of credit analysis and providing training to the team on adherence to underwriting quality metrics.
  • You will also oversee the daily underwriting pipeline and queues to guarantee timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation.
  • In addition, you will serve as the first point of contact for escalated or complex underwriting scenarios, offering guidance and resolving issues to facilitate smooth loan flow.
  • As a mentor, you will provide day-to-day guidance, foster development, and monitor team performance to ensure underwriting decisions align with agency, investor, and company guidelines.

Interaction with clients and other stakeholders is crucial in gathering feedback and mentoring the team accordingly. A strong background in finance, economics, or a related field is essential, along with qualifications such as US CFA Level 2+ or FRM Level 2. Experience in credit analysis, particularly in the real estate industry, is vital.

  • A Master's degree from a premier institution with specialization in finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience in leading a small team of highly skilled analysts is necessary.
  • Exposure to US or European clients and managing offshore teams will be an advantage.
