About Site Reliability Engineering

Site reliability engineering is a discipline that focuses on building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.

The goal of site reliability engineers is to ensure that applications are always available, scalable, and efficient.

This role requires strong technical skills in areas such as programming languages, operating systems, and networking.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight and maintenance of infrastructure supporting ad exchange applications.
  • Continuously improving infrastructure resilience, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Developing policies and procedures to improve overall platform stability.

This position requires collaboration with developers to establish quality and performance benchmarks.

Additonal responsibilities include building tools to simplify and enhance infrastructure management, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency.

Focusing on reducing latency and maximizing efficiency across all components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern software architectures, proficiency in programming languages, and experience with container orchestration tools.

Preferred skills and tools expertise include Infrastructure as Code, Configuration management tools, Monitoring and Logging Tools, OLAP databases, CI/CD Pipelines, Databases, Load Balancers Servers, and Strong knowledge of operating systems and networking fundamentals.

B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with 2–4 years of experience managing services in large-scale distributed systems.
