Developers build solutions that create value for their customers. This role focuses on improving the experience of developers by providing them with the tools to manage their software lifecycle.

This position is about creating a highly available and fault-tolerant service that enables teams to be responsible for their own software deployment. We are looking for someone who can help us design, build, and maintain high-performance services.

The chosen candidate will be working closely with various engineering teams to ensure that they have the necessary tools and expertise to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

This platform is built using the latest technologies such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Kotlin, and others. The successful candidate will help migrate existing applications to these new technologies and automate safe deployment practices.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for producing clean, standards-compliant code and be familiar with Linux/Unix systems. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Scala or other JVM-based languages, is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, hardening, and maintaining parts of our internal platform
  • Migrating applications to industry-leading CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
  • Automating safe deployment practices using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Helm Charts, etc.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and engineering processes
  • Coaching and up-skilling other engineering team members
  • Solving challenging technical problems
  • Driving and promoting protocols on production readiness and operational excellence

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 5-8 years of experience in system reliability engineering
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD processes and tools
  • Understanding of large-scale complex systems from a reliability perspective
  • Ability to identify time-consuming manual tasks and automate them
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
