Senior Public Relations Specialist

Join our team and drive business growth through effective public relations strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing publicity campaigns that generate interest in our clients' products or services.

Responsibilities:

  • Client & Media Relations: Develop strong relationships with clients and the media to build trust and credibility. Communicate effectively via telephone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Media Monitoring & Coverage: Monitor traditional and digital media sources, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires. Analyze and evaluate media coverage to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Publicity & Campaign Management: Plan, strategize, and execute publicity campaigns that meet client goals. Write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media. Promote news stories and features to increase visibility.
  • Event Management: Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits. Attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms.
  • Brand Development: Foster relationships with brands and 3rd parties on behalf of our organization. Develop quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with client business goals.
  • Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement: Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness and influence. Conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries.
  • Research & Analysis: Commission and undertake market research. Research new business proposals and present to potential clients. Analyze industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.
  • Team Contribution: Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment. Maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in public relations and communications.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of media relations and publicity techniques.
