Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Agricultural Relationship Manager to join our team. This role involves building strong relationships with farmers, rural communities, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of the agricultural sector and its dynamics. They will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.

In addition, the Agricultural Relationship Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including credit, operations, and remedial, to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.

The successful candidate will possess a strong educational background in agriculture or a related field, preferably with a post-graduation degree. They will also have relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role or sales experience in seed companies, fertilizer companies, agri-product companies, or banks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Sales and Influencing Skills: The ability to negotiate and close deals is crucial for this role.
  • Banking Product & Process Knowledge: A thorough understanding of banking products and processes is essential for success in this position.
  • Graduation (preferably Agri Business): A bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field is required.
  • Post-Graduation MBA (preferably Agri Business): A master's degree in agriculture or a related field is preferred.
  • Communication Knowledge of Competition & Current trends in financial Industry: Strong communication skills and knowledge of the competitive landscape are critical for this role.
