We are seeking an experienced Agri-Sales Specialist to drive sales and marketing efforts for agricultural products and services.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Business Development
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in rural/agricultural markets through strategic partnerships and field visits.
  2. Promote and sell agri-loans, input financing, equipment loans, and allied agri-products to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
Customer Relationship Management
  1. Maintain strong relationships with farmers, agri-cooperatives, and village-level entrepreneurs by understanding their needs and providing tailored financial and product solutions.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor to customers for their agricultural financing and input requirements, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Market Intelligence & Positioning
  1. Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor offerings, and pricing trends, enabling informed decision-making.
  2. Provide feedback to the product and strategy teams for improved product positioning and competitive advantage.
Coordination & Compliance
  1. Liaise with internal departments, such as credit and operations teams, to ensure efficient service delivery and regulatory compliance.
  2. Maintain strict adherence to company standards, including KYC documentation and audit norms.
Field Activities & Outreach
  1. Organize and participate in farmer outreach programs, crop demonstrations, and awareness camps to increase visibility and credibility.
  2. Maintain regular presence in assigned territories through extensive fieldwork and engagement with stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related fields; post-graduation preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in agri-sales, rural banking, or related sectors (freshers with agri background may be considered).
  • Requirements:
  • Ability to travel extensively within rural areas.
  • Valid driving license and own vehicle.
  • Comfortable working in field-based roles with varying weather conditions.
Key Skills:
  • Agricultural knowledge and rural financing expertise.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with agri-inputs, farm equipment, or crop cycles.
  • Customer-centric and solution-driven mindset.
  • Local language proficiency is an asset.
