
Agri-Sales Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Agri-Sales Specialist to drive sales and marketing efforts for agricultural products and services.
Job Responsibilities:- Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in rural/agricultural markets through strategic partnerships and field visits.
- Promote and sell agri-loans, input financing, equipment loans, and allied agri-products to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with farmers, agri-cooperatives, and village-level entrepreneurs by understanding their needs and providing tailored financial and product solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers for their agricultural financing and input requirements, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitor offerings, and pricing trends, enabling informed decision-making.
- Provide feedback to the product and strategy teams for improved product positioning and competitive advantage.
- Liaise with internal departments, such as credit and operations teams, to ensure efficient service delivery and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain strict adherence to company standards, including KYC documentation and audit norms.
- Organize and participate in farmer outreach programs, crop demonstrations, and awareness camps to increase visibility and credibility.
- Maintain regular presence in assigned territories through extensive fieldwork and engagement with stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related fields; post-graduation preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in agri-sales, rural banking, or related sectors (freshers with agri background may be considered).
- Requirements:
- Ability to travel extensively within rural areas.
- Valid driving license and own vehicle.
- Comfortable working in field-based roles with varying weather conditions.
- Agricultural knowledge and rural financing expertise.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with agri-inputs, farm equipment, or crop cycles.
- Customer-centric and solution-driven mindset.
- Local language proficiency is an asset.
