Job Description

The Head of Product Launch will lead a team overseeing all aspects of product launches for various portfolio segments. This role supports project management and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional leaders to ensure timely adherence to milestones.
  • Drive excellence in launch management to achieve successful execution.
  • Collaborate with regional heads to deliver accurate data on timelines and replenishment plans.
  • Lead cross-functional planning, including resource allocation, material planning, financial assessments, and capacity planning.
  • Provide inputs for portfolio decisions, identifying dependencies and implications.
  • Implement best practices in NPL management, using dashboards, templates, and tools for efficient planning and execution.
  • Facilitate alignment and accountability within regional and corporate functions to meet company goals.
  • Manage calendars, optimize governance processes, and partner with senior management as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication of launch status across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain integrated launch plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Foster talent through coaching, performance management, and setting clear expectations.
  • Oversee a team of planners and launch managers.
  • Have a strong understanding of specialty products.
  • Provide insights on customer preferences and product potential.
  • Assess go-to-market strategies and support local teams in customer profiling, target setting, and channel planning.
  • Manage the end-to-end commercial aspects of new product launches.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
