Accor Hotel Operations Manager Job Description

Job Summary

The Accor Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of the Guest Service department, with a focus on individual profitability and adherence to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure rooms are pre-blocked according to arrival time and notify housekeeping
  • Work closely with housekeeping and engineering to block rooms for maintenance
  • Control room keys for guests and other departments
  • Conduct frequent inspections with the housekeeping manager
  • Maximize room sales and revenue for the hotel
Guest Service
  • Establish rapport with guests and handle complaints, requests, and enquiries
  • Verify guest check-in and check-out service standards
  • Schedule peak operation hours to check standards of service and cleanliness
  • Greet and assist guests at check-in
  • Ensure speedy telephone and message service
  • Maintain awareness of current promotions, policy changes, and memorandums
People Management
  • Recruit, select, and develop Guest Service employees
  • Supervise employees in the performance of their duties
  • Delegate duties and responsibilities to equipped employees
  • Instill company training philosophies and develop departmental trainers

As the Accor Hotel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Guest Service team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive hotel revenue.
